OUT OF THE DEPTHS
Psalm 130

Out of the depths, I have cried to You, O Lord;
Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.
My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning;
Yes, more than those who watch for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Welcome!

If you are dealing with same sex attractions, if you have a loved one who has told you he or she is gay/lesbian, if you were sexually abused as a child, you are not alone!

OUT OF THE DEPTHS is a not for profit, Christ-centered network of care in the greater southern New Jersey area which offers support for men, women, families, and friends affected by sexual brokenness, resources to individuals, churches and communities, and referrals to professional
counselors. It is affiliated with Transforming Congregations (a ministry dealing with homosexuality and brokeness), and Exodus International (a world-wide organization offering assistance to persons with same sex attractions).

We have a group for parents and loved ones of gay children which meets monthly in Jacobstown, NJ. The time is spent in worship, praying for one another, and sharing feelings in an atmosphere of respect and safety. Confidentiality is assured for anyone who contacts us for assistance.

We now offer a quarterly newsletter with reports of ministry activity and upcoming events. If people want to join the mailing list, please email me with that request at ootdxg@aol.com.

In addition to the newsletters and support group, Bible coaching and mentoring are available via phone, mail, and/or email. Referrals can be given for those seeking professional help. A speaker is available who will share personal experiences about transitioning from same sex attractions, and to teach about some of the root causes of these feelings. We believe that there can be healing from childhood wounds, and that change is possible for most people.

The ministry is Christian-based, but open to persons of all faiths. We believe that God heals and that by His grace and power, it can be changed.
